Why Weez….

I come from a single-mother household watching a young mom of three do everything she could just to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. We grew up in survival mode. Kids raising kids. Learning life on our own while she worked nonstop.

I didn’t have much guidance. No real male leadership. Things could’ve gone any direction most of them not good.

But I found creativity early. Art, hands-on work, anything to stay busy and make something out of nothing. Instead of letting my upbringing turn into trauma, I turned it into growth PTSG, Post-Traumatic Growth. I learned from what I saw, especially what not to become.

My life shifted when I landed in a barbershop after getting kicked out of school. That space changed everything. I went from having no father figure… to being surrounded by hundreds of men mentors, wisdom, accountability. That environment raised me.

From sweeping floors, to apprentice, to master barber, to cosmetologist by 23 that’s when I finally saw direction.

But what I realized later was bigger than me.

There’s a gap. Too many talented kids, creatives, and young men never get the opportunity to express themselves or grow because of their environment, lack of guidance, or wrong influences. I was lucky to find an outlet. A lot of them don’t.

Weezgotcha Inc exists for them.

I’ve lived both sides struggle and growth. I’ve seen what happens when guidance is missing, even in my own family. And I’ve also seen what happens when someone finally gets a real chance.

This is about helping single mothers raise kings.
This is about giving young men the mentorship I didn’t have.
This is about turning survival into purpose.

We use barbershops and creative spaces as safe environments places for mentorship, expression, and growth. Free haircuts. Support systems. Real community.

Because the truth is:

We all go through something. We all create in our own way.
But nobody should have to do it alone.

That’s why it’s WEezgotcha.

WEEZ all need a place to start.
